8 Wardak police charged with neglect of duty

KABULinfo-icon (Pajhwok): Eight police officers have been referred to the judicial organs in central Maidan Wardak province for allegedly committing negligence in duty, an official said on Friday.

Maidan Wardak police chief Brig. Gen. Ahmad Fahim Qaim said the eight officers had committed negligence in preventing a Talibaninfo-icon attack that left an Afghan local police member four days ago in the Syedabad district

The police chief did not identify the police officers and warned every officer committing negligence in duty would be deal with in accordance with the law.

Previously five police officers had been referred to the judicial organs for different charges.
